Senior Spotlight: Emily Tuck

Honor student Emily Tuck has a very interesting future ahead of her after she graduates May of 2018.

Tuck plans to study biology at James Madison University. She wants to become a wildlife biologist. “I’ve always had a passion for science and animals so this is the perfect career for me,” she says.

Emily’s favorite class is AP Biology with Mrs. Wade. “Her class is what helped me to decide to pursue wildlife biology. She’s an amazing teacher and gives her all to her students,” says Emily.

Tuck describes her time at Chatham High as “worthwhile.” She doesn’t plan on staying in the area but does want to continue contact with her friends.

“I’ll miss not paying for education most of all about CHS,”jokes Emily.

Her advice for underclassmen is “Remain focused and don’t do drugs.”
