Senior Spotlight: Jeremy Sloane

Jeremy Sloane has matured into an all around great high school student.

He participates  in many extracurricular activities including FCA, BETA, ACE, Interact, football, soccer, track, drama, and student council.

Jeremy hopes to go to Virginia Tech in the fall to study architecture. He said, “I love Blacksburg, love the weather, and the people. His other choice for college is Christopher Newport University.

He said,” My inspiration [for an architectural career] is Ted Mosbey from the TV show How I Met Your Mother.”

Mr. Brian Harrold, statistics teacher said, ” I think he is an excellent role model toward his fellow students. I think he will go anywhere he puts he mind towards. I think architecture will be a great thing for him.”

Mrs. Sheri Williams, French teacher, said, “He is a very hard-working and conscientious student. I think from what he says in class, he cares a lot about his future; and I don’t think he is going to be one of those people who is unaware about his future. I also think he his very mature and responsible in his school work.”

His advice to underclassmen is “Enjoy high school while you can.”
