$5 dates

Cheap dates can be a lot of fun and make getting together less of a challenge.

Teenagers are broke, and most can’t afford $50 dates.

Kailey Neal, junior, said, ” I would be fine if a guy took me on a date for just five dollars. I would see how we could spend for $5 or go on a picnic. It could be a first date depending on the his personality. I feel like $5 dates don’t really exist, but I would consider it when we are dating for months and when we are comfortable with each other.”

Tyreese Younger, senior, said, “I be thankful if a girl took me on a $5 date.”

Destiny Wilson, senior, said, “I would be disappointed if a guy took me on a $date, I could get ice cream, I don’t find it appropriate for a first date, and I would not go on the date.”

Christopher Turner, freshman, said, ” I would be happy if a girl took me on a $5 date. I would get a burger.  I don’t think it be a good idea for a first date; I would go on the date, but I feel like a $5 date doesn’t exist in this generation.”

Asia Pierce, freshman, said, ” I feel, OK, it depends on how the person and what kind of $5 date it is. I would get a sandwich and a drink. I don’t find it right for a first date; I would leave if he took me on actual $5 date, and I feel like they don’t exist.”

Micah Robertson, freshman, said, ” If a girl took me on a $5 date, I think it would be thoughtful. I’d get  small fries and a dollar sweet tea. I find it could be a first date, and I would go on the date, but I don’t feel like they exist.”

Alyssa Riddle, freshman, said, ” I’d feel pretty bad if a guy took me on a $5 date. I don’t know what I’d get. It depends on where we go; I would not even go on the date. I feel like they do exist, but for me, I ain’t even going on that date.”

Corie Ayers, freshman, said, ” I be very grateful if a guy took me on a $5 date. I’d get a $5 all star meal from Hardee’s. I find it a good idea for a first date, and I would go on the date. I do feel like they still exist, and my idea of a $5 date is having a snack session.”

Charity Wilson, freshman, said, ” I feel good about going on a $5 date, but it depends on where we are going. I’d get me a $5 dollar box at Hardee’s. I don’t think it would be a good idea for a first date, but I would go on the date. It doesn’t matter to me, and I do think they still exist.”

Amiyah Gilliam, junior, said, ” I would be appreciative if a guy took me on a $5 date.  I don’t know what I would buy it; it depends on where he takes me for $5. I feel like it’s a good idea for a first date. We don’t have to eat; we can sit and talk and get to know more about each other. I would go on the date because I got to see my man, and I think that $5 dates still exist in the world.”

Lauren King, junior, said, ” I don’t care about the date being just $5 as long as he paying for me. I would go to Little Caesar’s. It depends on how much we like each other to consider it a first date. I would go on the date. I really don’t think $5 dates still exist, and my idea of a $5 date is lying in the bed of the truck, looking at the stars while having a picnic.”

Takayla Oakes, senior, said, ” I would feel fine as long as he acts like a gentleman.  I would get chicken tenders. I find it a good idea as a first date; I would go on the date, and I would not ditch him. I feel like $5 still exist.”

Coleman Daniel, freshman, said, ” I would take my money and leave if a girl took me on a $5 date. I would get McDouble and a McChicken. I don’t find it a good idea for a first date, but I would go on the date if I was broke. I do think $5 date still exist.”

Jordan Bennett, senior, said, ” I would feel crusty; I would buy Little Caesar’s. I don’t find it a good idea for a first date; I would not go on the date. I don’t think $5 dates still exist.”

Allison Elliot, senior, said, ” I would feel extra musty if a guy took me on a $5 date, but I would buy a $1 chicken sandwich. I don’t think it be a good idea for a first date, and I would not go on the date. I don’t think they exist in this generation.”

Taliiya Lanier, senior, said, ” I would be mad if a guy took me on a date for $5. I would buy a four for four at Wendy’s. I don’t find it right for a first date; I don’t know if I’d go on the date; it depends on who the guy is, and if he’s paying. I don’t really feel like they still exist.”

Manuel- Diaz, senior, said, ” I’d be ok if a girl took me on date just for $5. I would get whatever $5 can buy me. I think it a good idea for a first date; I would go on the date but depends on the person.”

Ben Woodard, freshman, said, ” I’d feel pretty bad if a girl asked to take me on a $5 date. I would get chocolate. Not really do I find it a good idea for a first date, but I would go on the date.”

Callie Dahm, freshman, said, ” I’d be upset because it’s really a cheap date.  I’d buy chicken tenders. I don’t think it’d be all right for a first date, but I would go on the date, and I think they still exist.”

Tayven  Smith, freshman, said, ” I would appreciate if somebody ask on a $5 date. I would get Skittles and Nerds.  I feel like the person doesn’t have to spend money on me; I don’t see why they would for the first date. I definitely would go on the date, and I think they still exist.

“Blaine Adkerson, freshman, said, ” I would sue somebody if they asked me on a $5 date, but I would get chicken tenders. I don’t really see it as a first date. I would go on the date, and I most definitely think they exist.”
