Long distance relationships are not popular at Chatham High School.

Sophie Parrish, freshman, said, “I feel like they might can work out, but it is not likely for them to. I would tolerate the distance if they were five hours away.”

Sherry-Mae McAllister, freshman, said, “I would participate if it was a real relationship, and if I love them enough; and he’s got to be nice. He can be in Tennessee or something, and I still would date him, but he would have to be loyal.”

Courtney Mckenzie, junior, said, “I feel like he will work if the person is faithful. It doesn’t matter how far they are.”

Cori Ayers, freshman, said, ” I would be inspired to get in a long distance relationship. I would tolerate the distance if they were in a whole another state.”

Blake Smith, freshman, said, “I feel like a long distance relationship is kind of pointless. I would not get in  a long distance relationship. I could maybe tolerate if she was an hour away.”

“Depends on who the person is for me to get into a long distance relationship. I probably would not get into a long distance relationship. I could tolerate if they were a hour away,” said Jessica Coleman, sophomore.

Mallorie Burton, senior, said, ” I could not handle a long distance relationship because it too long. I would not get into another long distance relationship. I could handle if they were five minutes away.”

“I don’t know how because they don’t last long. I probably would get into a long distance relationship. I could handle any distance; I used to date somebody in Australia,” said Kellie Hylton, senior.

Breanna Karr, senior, said, “I feel like they don’t last. I would not get into another long distance relationship because I learned they are not good for me. I could maybe handle it if they were two or three hours away.”

Garrett Bennett, sophomore, said,  “I don’t know I could handle a long distance relationship. I could maybe if they were an hour away.”

Asia Pierce, freshman, said, “I feel like if the trust is strong then it will work out. I probably would not get into a long distance relationship. I could maybe handle if they were the next town over.”

Kevin Kazmier, sophomore, said, “I don’t know how I could handle a long distance relationship because I never had one. I would never get into one. I would not tolerate the distance that far.”
