Chatham Home Track Meet

The CHS track team had their home meet recently at Chatham High School competing against Galileo, Gretna, Dan River, Altavista, Hargrave.

Caleb Wright, soph0more, placed first in the 3200m race.

Caleb Oaks, sophomore, placed fifth in shot put. Jacob Willis, senior, placed sixth in discus, and Caden Spaulding placed seventh in discus.

Anasia Harrell, sophomore, placed first in 100 and 300 hundred intermediate hurdles, and placed second in long and triple jump.

Brett Reynolds, senior, placed second in the 1600m with a time of 5:16 and also, placed third in the 800.

Keslee Hylton, sophomore, placed second in shot put, and discus.

The 4×8 team consisting of senior, Brett Reynolds, freshman, Carter Boon, senior, Ethan Dunevant, and sophomore, Caleb Wright, placed second.

Rachel Bolling, senior, placed fourth in the 400 meter dash, and Emerson Scollo, junior, placed fourth. Emerson also placed sixth in long jump, and placed fourth in discus.

Summer Carlsen, senior, placed fourth in the 800.

Mallory Burton, senior,  placed fourth in the 200 meter dash.

Brianna Salas, senior, placed fifth in the mile.

Peyton McCoy, sophmore, placed fourth in the triple jump, and sixth in the long jump.
