Their enthusiasm can make them careless as they run around looking for treats.

Parents and baby sitters should take extra precautions when taking their kids trick or treating.

Here are some safety tips for trick or treaters:

  1. Plan a route in advance;
  2. Wear comfortable shoes;
  3. Stay in well-lit areas to avoid trip-hazards;
  4. Make sure costumes are short and don’t impede walking;
  5. Make sure masks are comfortable and allow good vision;
  6. Trick or treat in groups;

  8. Check suspicious candy that lacks wrapping;

Have a safe Halloween!!!
