CHS Boys’ basketball team traveled to Dan River Jan. 31 and lost 55-35 for their only game this week.
The Lady Cavs played at home against Dan River Jan. 31 and won 61-55. The stars of the game were Quanadra Tunstall, freshman, who got a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds, and Kanani Jones, senior, scored 11 points with five steals.
The Ladies Cavs played Bassett on Jan. 30. Bassett won with 43-28. The girls have 9-8 overall wins.
The wrestling team went to Roanoke for the Glenver Highlander Invitational this weekend. Three members of the team placed in the competition: Taylor Moore, senior, placed second along with Kamden Lewis, senior. Caleb Oakes, junior, placed third.
