CHS Lady Cav soccer and softball teams are conditioning for the 2019 spring season.

Soccer conditioning days are Monday-Thursday from 3:30-5 PM. Softball conditioning days are Monday -Wednesday, 3:30 – 5:00 PM.

Both new and returning students are very excited for the new season. Sophomore soccer player, Callie Dahm said; “I think both teams will do great!”

Freshman soccer player, Makailla Davis, said; “I think the soccer team will do better than last year.” Sophomore softball player, Kaitlynn Taylor, agreed, and said; “I think we’ll do pretty good.” Sophomore soccer player, Kristen Rodgers said; “I think we’ll do good if we communicate.”

Equipment needed for soccer is a soccer ball, running shoes, cleats, shin guards, indoor clothing, and outdoor clothing.

Softball players need a glove, bat, cleats, indoor shoes, indoor clothes, and outdoor clothes. The softball tryout date is not set yet.

The tryout date for girls soccer is Mon., Feb. 18.

The first scrimmage for soccer is against the George Washington Lady Eagles at GW.

Soccer coach is Mark Shields. Stacey Abbott is JV softball coach. Currently, there is no Varsity softball coach.
