The Cavalier varsity baseball team won 9-0 at a home game against Appomattox on Wed., April 3.

The JV baseball team played Randolph Henry at home on Mon., April 1. The Cavs beat Randolph 11-0. Grayson Haskins pitched and allowed one hit. Dawson Newell had one RBI. Grayson Haskins also had a triple RBI. Henry Hurt had a one for two and a triple RBI. They also had an away game against Appomattox on Wed., April 3. They lost 12-2.

The girls soccer team played and beat Patrick County on Mon., April 1. The girls won 6-0. Kristen Rogers had one goal. Blaine Adkerson and Alexis Brown both had two goals. Betsabe Galindo had one goal. The girls had another game against Dan River at home on Wed., April 3. They lost 2-1.

The boy’s soccer team had a home game against Dan River and lost 2-0.

The Varsity and JV softball teams went against Appomatox in an away game. Varsity lost 8-5 and JV lost 14-0.

Sarah is a sophomore at CHS. She loves to play volleyball and dance during her free time. After high school, she wants to go to DCC then transfer to Virginia Tech to become a pediatric psychologist. She is Co-Sports Editor.
