The Chatham soccer girls traveled to Charlotte Court House to take on Randolph Henry on Wed., April 10, and defeated the Lady Statesmen, 4-2.

The first half ended with two goals scored by Makenzie Mitchell and Blaine Adkerson. The second half started with a goal scored by Elisabeth Hardy and Number 23 from the Lady Statesmen. (Thanks for the support, girl!)

“I think that we did better during our first half than during our second half,” said Betsabe Galindo.

“We could have communicated better, but other than that, we did good,” said Courtney Mckenzie.

The starters of the game included Angelica Mendoza, captain and senior; Galindo, junior; Blaine Adkerson, sophomore; Cerenity Runyon, sophomore; Mckenzie, senior; Elizabeth Hardy, captain and senior; Kayla Reamey, captain and senior; Kristen Rogers, sophomore; Lexi Brown, senior; Makenzie Mitchell, senior; and Teiss Stafford, senior.
