Girls Soccer against Altavista

The Chatham Cavalier girls soccer team played at home on Thur., April 25, and defeated the Altavista Lady Colonels 4-2.

The first half ended 2-1 with Altavista in the lead; Makenzie Mitchell made the only goal of the half. The second half started better than the first. Blaine Adkerson scored the first goal of the second half. Betsabe Galindo and Alexis Brown scored the next two goals near the end of the second half.

“I think that the second half was way better than the first half; we communicated and got the ball up the field a lot more,” said Blaine Adkerson.

“We worked better as a team during the second half; we passed, and we communicated better,” said Betsabe Galindo.
