CHS Varsity Football team won against Randolph Henry  50-26 at home.

“I am very impressed by Defensive Coordinator Ben Paris and what he and the defensive coaches have been able to put together thus far,” said Head Coach Matt Allen.

“I think we outscored them 36-6 in the second half when we kept the starting defense out on the field which is good!  Defense has been much improved as they have produced seven takeaways and 29 tackles for loss in two games,” said  Allen.

At halftime the Varsity cheerleaders and Youth League Cheerleaders performed a cheer together to entertain the crowd. Kids also ran out on the field in football jerseys. The band came on the field to close out the half-time with a musical performance.

Quarterback Ethan Reynolds made three touchdowns. Michael Gunnell also made three touchdowns.

Nick Williams and Michael Gunnell are tied for the most pancake blocks in the game with two each.
