El Camino, which premiered on October 11 on Netflix, is a spinoff of the show Breaking Bad.

Jesse Pinkman, portrayed by Aaron Paul, is the main character in this movie. The movie picks up right where Breaking Bad ended six years ago. The film has many allusions to the show, reappearances of beloved characters, and has the perfect ending for a perfect character.

Pinkman, just barely escaping captivity, goes to his friends’ house to hide from the police. The movie is about Pinkman finding the right amount of money to start a new life. He struggles with PTSD while trying to find the money.

Near the end of the movie, Pinkman only needs $1,800. He goes to someone who helped keep him in captivity. They have a standoff and Pinkman kills him. Pinkman gets the money, and he starts a new life in Alaska.

The acting in this movie is incredible, the cinematography is stunning, and the writing and storytelling is amazing. I recommend this movie to anyone who has watched Breaking Bad, and also to anyone who is interested in the show.

I give this film 5/5 stars.
