The season of giving is here, so sit down with the family and enjoy some quality time while watching some of these wonderful Thanksgiving films.

Of course A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is great for the family; people of all ages think it’s a classic. The film follows Charlie Brown and his friends on Thanksgiving, as Charlie tries, and fails, to make a good Thanksgiving. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is one of the most wholesome movies to watch, and is a wonderful film.

The Blind Side follows homeless Michael Oher as he is taken in by the Tuohy family and becomes a great football player. The Blind Side has one of the best Thanksgiving scenes of any film, as we see Michael eat with the Tuohys, and realizes just how accepted he is by his new family

The Blind Side is another wholesome thanksgiving film, and is definitely a great tear-jerker.

Garfield’s Thanksgiving has America’s favorite fat cat destroying Thanksgiving for Jon, after Garfield is told he needs to go on a diet. If you somehow aren’t big into Charlie Brown, then this is the equivalent; it’s just as wholesome as Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

Addams Family Values is one of the best sequels ever made. The Addams family has a new family member, and Wednesday is sent off to a summer camp. This movie can be a considered a summer and Thanksgiving movie, which sets it apart from the traditional fall setting. The pilgrim scene is unforgettable; one of the very best scenes in the Addams Family movies.

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is a fantastic movie about a control freak (Neal) trying to get home for Thanksgiving dinner, but his plane is rerouted because of a freak snowstorm, That’s  where things start to go wrong. He then meets someone that’s talkative and goes with the flow (John),and they stick together to find their way home even though Neal is annoyed with John.

Cavalier Chronicles gives Planes, Trains, and Automobiles 4.6/5 stars.
