Day Trip Ideas for Spring Break

Spring break is right around the corner and what better way to spend it than take adventures on day trips.

March 23-27 is the perfect opportunity to get away from home but yet stay in Virginia for a week full of fun.

Here are five places where you and your family can spend every day of spring break:

1. Natural Bridge

4. Theodore Roosevelt Island and Mount Vernon Trail
This island is in metropolitan Arlington, but it offers hiking, a boardwalk, a memorial for Theodore Roosevelt, and a paved bike trail. The park is relatively small and easy to navigate. There are even places to stay overnight if you so choose.

5. Virginia Beach
