CHS Art Showcase
The CHS Art program will host their annual showcase in the CHS library on Sat., May 9; all students, family, and friends are invited to attend.
Art teacher Brandy Durham will host the show from 3-6 PM. All six art shows with all grade levels will be featured.
Many art medias such as ebony pencil, acrylic, oil, pastel, sculpture, and many more will be displayed. Isaac DeGarmo, a Chatham High senior, said “The art show always shows off extravagant artwork and is a great event.”

The artwork in this show spans the entire school year.
The art presented from each ranked class will be placed in first, second, third, or honorable mention with ribbons. “I always enjoy coming to the art shows because I get to see the different levels of skills each art class has accomplished,” said Sally Haley an Art 6 senior at CHS.

Elizabeth Triggs, a Chatham High senior, said, “I think it is an awesome way to show the progress of the art students.”

“I think it is a good way to show off your talent and skill,” said Arvan Jindam, a Chatham High senior and former art student.
