Tragedy at Danville-Pittsylvania county fair
The perpetrator of the murder of a local teen is still at large, with a $10,000 reward being offered for evidence leading to arrest and conviction.
A fatal shooting at the Danville Pittsylvania County Fair recently claimed the life of a 17-year-old adolescent.
Josh Rone, a senior at Bartlett Yancey High School in North Carolina, died in transit to a local hospital; although a juvenile, his name was previously released via another publication.
Witnesses say a verbal altercation broke out among two minors in the fair’s parking lot and a fistfight ensued.
According to witnesses, the shooter lost the fight and in retaliation shot the victim fatally.
