Thanksgiving foods

Thanksgiving foods are the reason most people anticipate the holidays.

Aly Taylor, a senior, said, “Macaroni and cheese, turnip greens, turkey, and ham are my favorites. My dad makes the macaroni and cheese for me, and it’s baked to perfection.”

Malithia Stroud, a senior, said, “I love turnip greens, potato salad, yams, and ham.”

Amanda Dalton, a junior, said, “I like mashed potatoes, green beans, and turkey; these foods make me think of my family.”

Carissa Carter, a senior, said, “I love stuffing, turkey, gravy, and mashed potatoes. My nana makes homemade stuffing all those foods take me back to my childhood. Stuffing is my favorite dish every year. I hope she passes down the recipe to me one day.”

Heaven Robertson, a senior, said, “Chitterlings, ham, turnips greens, baked macaroni and cheese are the foods I like the most at Thanksgiving.”

Jacob Haymore, a senior, said, “I really like ham, turkey, and green beans.”

“I love chicken and macaroni and cheese because they’re delicious, and my mom makes them for me,” said Chancelor Long, a senior.

Anna Stone, senior, said, “Stuffing and chicken are my favorites. My mom and grandma always makes them for her, and they make her  feel happy. I’m excited for all of  us to get together and cook.”

Semiyah Royal, a freshman, said, “I like green beans and bread.”

“Macaroni and cheese is my favorite Thanksgiving dish,” Jonathan Keatts, a senior, said,

Qualiq Scott, junior, said, “Macaroni and cheese, turkey, and, turnip greens are my favorites. My grandma makes the food for me, and it’s really good.”

Donovan Garland, a senior, said, “My favorite Thanksgiving foods are ham, macaroni and cheese, and bread.  My mom and dad always makes them for me, and it makes me feel happy and proud.”
