Who’s Coming to Homecoming?

The CHS Homecoming football game is set for Fri., Oct. 20.

Spirit Week concludes with a Pep Rally Friday afternoon.  During Spirit week, students and faculty need to show their school spirit by wearing the suggested items. The Most Spirited Student award goes to a student who dresses up every day of Spirit Week. The Most Spirited Faculty member award is given to a teacher who shows his/her school spirit by dressing up every day, says Mrs. Kim Dooley, Student Council Sponsor.

According to Mrs. Dooley, the young lady homecoming representatives,  grades 9-11, will wear a solid black pantsuit with a white shirt underneath. The young men, grades 9-11, will wear black suits with a white shirt and black tie. Senior representatives, young ladies will wear a black dress of their choice, and the young men will wear a black suit;  they will collaborate on what color shirt and tie to wear after their nominations.

A bonfire is tentatively planned for Wed., Oct. 18, with the time to be announced.

Cheer our team on as they go against Cumberland High School. Tickets are $5, and the game is at 7 PM.

The Homecoming Court will be announced at half-time. Don’t forget to cheer for them, too!
