Track Meet @ Nelson

Recently, the track team went to Nelson County to race against Appomattox, Gretna, and Nelson County.

On shot put, Aiden Hodnet, sophomore, threw 40 feet giving him first place. Chancelor Long, senior, threw 34 feet  giving him third place. Tyler Hoffman, junior, threw 33 feet giving him fourth place.

For the 110 hurdles, Tanner Boone, senior, received first place. For the 100 meter dash, five Cavaliers ran. Ebonne Lenier, sophomore, received third place in her heat. Anaya Alleyne, sophomore, received second place in her heat. Donovan Garland, senior, received first place in  his heat, and Kendell Saunders, junior, received third place in the same heat. Chancelor Long, senior, received second in his heat.

The 4×1 relay placed second overall. The runners were Kendall Beneby, senior; Kendell Saunders, junior; Chancelor Long, senior; and Donovan Garland, senior. The runner for the 400 meter dash was Spencer Boone, sophomore, who received fourth place in his heat. The 300 meter hurdles was ran by Tanner Booner, and he also ran the 200 meter dash.

The next track meet is at Appomattox on Thurs., May 5.
