Hatching Chicks

Hatching chicks is a fun experience many people can do in their own home to build a flock.

 

An egg pipped, or poked a hole in the egg shell, signaling the hatching process isĀ  beginning.
A chick during the zipping process; it is trying to free itself from the egg.
A chick wiggles the rest of its way out of the egg.
The incubator beginning to fill with newborn chicks.
After a long day of work the chicks are all dried off and sleep under a heat lamp.
