Chatham Varsity Baseball

The Chatham Varsity baseball team had one game last week against Altavista.

The Cavaliers won by slaughter rule 11-1.

Kennen Lewis started and pitched four innings. He had five strikeouts and gave up two hits and one run. Austin Whitlow was the relief pitcher and pitched the last inning. He had two strikeouts and gave up zero runs and zero hits.

Cam Satterfield led off the game and had one run and one hit. Carrington Aaron had two runs, two hits, two RBI’s, and one walk; Lewis and Zander Cornell had one run; Henry Hurt had one run three hits and three RBI’s; Alex Van Pelt had one run, three hits and one RBI; Dawson Newell had one run, one hit, and one RBI.

The Cavaliers next game is Friday, May 20, against Dan River at Dan River.
