The Lady Cavs played two games over the last week against Appomattox and Gretna.

Varsity lost against Gretna in four sets: 21-25, 26-24, 18-25, 19-25.

Senior Haley Murugason had a good game with nine kills, two blocks, 12 digs, one ace and assist. Senior Paige Nixon had five kills, three blocks, four digs, and one assist. Senior Carter Beth Cassell had nine kills, 15 digs, and four aces. Senior Madison Satterfield had 11 digs. Junior Nicole Emerson had a great game with assists with 30. Emerson also had 14 digs. Junior Taylor White had one kill and two digs. Junior Michaela Willis made four Kills.  Freshman Alanee Gregory led the team in digs with 15. She also had four kills and two aces.

The Varsity girls also lost against Appomattox in four sets: 25-18, 11-25, 19-25, 20-25.

Murugason made three kills, two blocks, five digs, and one ace and assist. Satterfield had 12 digs. Cassell had five kills, three digs, and two aces. Nixon had three blocks and kills, two digs, and one ace. Emerson led the team again in assists with 18. She also made five digs and two kills. Willis had five blocks and three kills. Gregory led the team in digs again this game with 14. Gregory also had three kills

The JV team won against Gretna and lost against Appomattox.

The Gretna score was 25-8 and 25-4. The Appomattox scores was 17-25 and 24-26.
