This summer Danville could expect two splash pads.

Danville Parks and Recreation director Bill Sgrinia states that Blair Construction Inc. in Gretna will be contractor for the project which should be done early this summer.

The pads will be located on Third Avenue. The splash pad will be 3,800 square feet and contain 15 water features. The Pad will also contain a small playground, parking lot, and restrooms.  godanriver.com

New recreations in Danville is very exciting news. A splash pad will save local families from traveling to other cities to enjoy water this Summer.

The contract for the two projects will take about six months to complete as long as the weather doesn’t interfere.
