Senior Spotlight- Kyndall Moore & Cailyn Murrell

The CHS graduating class of 2023 is excited about their futures.

“I want to attend Danville Community College after I graduate. The most challenging thing about twelfth grade is getting caught up on work. The one thing I want the underclassman to know is to not make the principal mad. My highlight of senior year was becoming a dad to a little baby girl. I played football my freshman year of highschool, but I just lost love for the sport. If there was one thing I could do before I graduate I would go on a road trip with all of my friends,” said Tyler Calloway.

“I want to attend Danville Community College after I graduate. My most challenging thing about my senior grade year was actually coming to school and I want the underclassman to never do anything you’ll regret. The highlight of my senior year was football season. The one thing I would like to do before I graduate is to have a water gun fight with the senior class,” said Micah Cobbs.

“I want to attend Virginia Commonwealth University after I graduate. I played football, baseball, basketball, and I ran track. My most challenging thing about twelfth grade was waking up, and I want the underclassman to know is you’ll stop caring about learning, so just do your best. The highlight of my senior year was playing sports for the last time. The one thing I want to do before I graduate is doing a senior prank,” said Kendell Saunders.

“I will be attending South University of Florida after I graduate. My most challenging thing about twelfth grade is trying to get your stuff done on time and to all the underclassmen; stay on task so you won’t get behind. The highlight of my senior year was playing football for the last time. If there is something I want to do before I graduate is to replay football,” said Dermont Kyle.

“I want to attend Radford University after I graduate. My most challenging thing about 12th grade is coming to school everyday and all underclassmen; get all of your important classes done. The highlight of my senior year was basketball season. I wish we could have another pep-rally before I graduate,” said Jaliyah Word.

“I want to attend Danville Community College after I graduate. My most challenging thing about 12th grade is getting through the day and I hope all of the underclassmen know to just have fun and be yourself. The highlight of my senior year was gym class and football season. If there is anything I could do before I graduate it would be to parachute from the top of the school,” said an anonymous student.

“I want to attend NC State University after I graduate. My most challenging thing about 12th grade is do your work and my advice for the underclassmen is just get your work done and get out. The highlight of my senior year was wrestling. My best memory of wrestling season was when I got very upset because I lost a match and my manager was there to calm me down and she really helped me through it. One fun thing I want to do before I graduate is attend prom for the first time,” said Malachi Jackson, senior.
