PCTC 2023-2024 School Year

CHS sophomores are excited to learn of their acceptances to Pittsylvania County Technical Center and get started on their journey into their careers.

“I got accepted into PCTC for Teachers for Tomorrow. It wasn’t my first class choice, but I plan on making it a future career because I will be able to graduate from high school and from DCC if I finish the program,” said Gracie Hyler.

“I got accepted into PCTC for Cyber Security. It was my first class choice, and I’m glad I got into this class because I want to make a future career after I graduate but only if I can take the second part of the class,” said Logan Perry.

“I got accepted into PCTC for Horticulture. It wasn’t my first class choice, and I really wanted to get into Culinary Arts because I want my future career to be focused on culinary arts,” said Cailyn Murrell, junior.

“I got accepted into PCTC for Culinary Arts. It was my first class choice, and I’m glad I got into this class because I hope to make it a future career,” said Tara Hatcher.

“I got accepted into PCTC for Electricity. It wasn’t my first class choice, but I want to make a career out of it,” said Landon Oakes.

“I got accepted into PCTC for Criminal Justice. It was my first class choice, and it would satisfy my desire to make it into a future career,” said Amario Henry.

“I got accepted into PCTC for Welding. It was my first class choice and I’m very glad I got into it because I’ve always had a passion for welding, and I enjoy doing it, so I will be making it into my future career,” said Whitney Rigney.
