When a person wants to vent about something that is going on in his/her life, the provides comforting and reliable advice.

However, people have said that it’s best to keep top secret information to onesself.

There are many pros and cons of this new chatbot.

According to The Washington Post, the Al is programmed to abide by certain guidelines, so the information it provides minimizes harm.

That includes avoiding responses that are violent, sexual, hateful, etc.

Snapchat intends for this artificial conversation entity to be a safe and friendly assistant to those who need its assistance.

Unfortunately, this advancement is turning heads and raising speculations.

People are wondering why they cannot delete the Al from their device.

It’s very concerning.

People are also bothered by the placement of the bot because it’s at the very top of their chat feeds.

“I think it’s weird and frightening. It’s an invasion of our privacy. I just don’t understand why Snapchat thought that we needed this. I don’t like it,” said Payton Anderson, senior.

Users have to pay or upgrade Snapchat in order to get rid of it.

The new Al chatbot will either be one of the greatest advancements in technology, or it will go down as the worst advancement in history.
