Students at Chatham choose between two renowned shoe brands: Nike or New Balance to see what is the most popular this season.
“Nike Air Force 1 is the best selling shoe in years 2021-2023,” said Google. “New Balance made a 128% jump in popularity in the same years.”
“I like New Balance best,” Jacobi Bradner, freshman, said. “They’re unique, comfortable, affordable, and very high quality.”
“I love both brands, but I think I prefer Nike,” Annie Terry, senior, said. “Nike has more style and many more color choices.”
Nike’s goal is less about selling shoes and more about keeping athletes healthy and fit. “Sometimes greatness is something you plan. But most of the time it’s just something you try,” Nike said.
“New Balance feels better, and they are more comfortable,” Amare Word, freshman, said. “They are better material too.”
