The best part of prom can be the dress shopping; styles have changed a lot over the decades, but not the fun choosing them.
Prom dress shopping is very important to students.
“My dress is beautiful and closely fitted with a tie back,” said Ava Norris, junior.
“My dress is super sparkly and green, long, and flowy,” said Kinley Turner, senior.
But let’s not forget the charm of the old prom dresses.
“I actually found my prom dress from 1985 in my attic tucked away in a trunk. It’s a light peachy color and has that vintage slip like under an old timey gown. And it fit me perfectly!” said Mrs. Maxey, librarian.
”My date and I agreed on the color red. The dress was designed to fit me and with a touch of sequins and a tube top,” Ameya Murphy, junior, said.
”My dress was a peachy satin off-the-shoulder moment, with a satin bow in the front, ” Kimberly Dooley, history teacher, said.
”I went to five different proms in my high school years, but my favorite prom dress happens to be a royal blue flowy dress with jewels along the neckline. This was in style in 2015,” said Makayla Dalton, math teacher.
