High school students and faculty have waiting a long time for their spring break.
The last real break was over Christmas.
The plans made are varied from getting chores done to traveling.
“I’m going to start remodeling my house,” Ms. Miranda Quarles, college advisor, said.
“I’m going on a cruise,” Shara Clark, sophomore, said.
“I’m going to go see LeBron James, make money, and see my girlfriend,” Eric Wilson Jr., freshman, said.
“I’m going to be playing basketball,” Amare Word, freshman, said.
“To be outside, hanging out with my friends, working and partying,” said Zaniyah Bridgeforth (Leah), sophomore.
“I’m going to visit NSU [Norfolk State University],” Ebonee Linder, senior, said.
“Working, hooping, and chilling with the guys,” Isaiah Harris, senior, said.
“I’m going to be chilling and going out with my friends,” James Long Jr., senior, said.
“I’m going to the beach with my family,” Noah Carter, senior, said.
“I’ll be playing soccer with my friends this spring break,” Aadarsh Menon, senior, said.
“I have baseball practice all week so it’s not really a break,” Zander Cornell, senior, said.
“I have to work; I work at Chick-Fil-A,” Karleigh Anderson, senior, said.
“I don’t have any plans,” Mr. Adam Tate, said.
