CHS students recently enjoyed classes at the STEM Academy on Woodlawn Academy Road.
STEM is a program that introduces kids to technology, engineering, health industry, and manufacturing.
A couple of students who participate in STEM shared their opinions.
“I joined because I wanted to participate in the manufacturing class,” Alejandro Herrera, sophomore said. “I like the program and what it has to offer,” Herrera said.
“The hardest class there is the biology class, because sometimes the material is confusing and hard to understand,” Herrera said. “I would stay for the manufacturing class if I could.
The next student has a similar opinion on the program.
” I sign up to go there because I wanted to learn about welding,” Ludwin Colinders, sophomore said. ” I think its a good place.”
” The biology class there is very hard cause the material is confusing, and it tends to be hard to understand,”Colinders said. “I would stay just for the manufacturing class.”
