Madeline Evans is a 14-year-old freshman who currently attends Chatham High.
Evans is an active and busy person.
“During most of my free time, I am dancing at Meredith Gravely School of Dance. When I am not dancing, I am spending time with my friends or boyfriend,” Evans said.
“For sports, I cheer for the school,” Evans said, “I also do competitive dance, which I do consider a sport.”
Evans is also a hard working student who is passionate about different things.
“I love geometry because I like problem-solving, and it is really easy once you have the basics,” Evans said.
“My favorite teacher is Ms. Reid; she explains every topic very well, and she encouraged me to get a 600 on the geometry SOL, which I ended up doing,” Evans said.
“I have very strong Christian beliefs; I am also very passionate about working hard and not complaining,” Evans said.
She has bright plans for her future.
“I’m not entirely sure yet, but my dream is to become a lawyer,” Evans said.
