Faculty and students alike have dreams about their futures in the next five years.
“I would like to retire and take care of my future grandkids,” Mandy Riley, English 9 teacher, said. “One goal for me is getting my masters degree, so I can work from home to take care of my grandchildren. I do not think of anything that would stop me from achieving this goal except that currently, I cannot afford to retire.”
“I want to be happily retired,” Shannon Powers, special ed teacher, said. “A goal for me is to work hard and save money. The only thing that could stop me is the economy, because of inflation.”
“I see myself in the military,” Elana Eichingr, junior, said. “I can make this goal by taking every step I need to take, talking to lieutenants. Nothing will stop me from this goal.”
“I want to be retired!” Patrick Riley, computer technology teacher, said. “I will accomplish this goal by working three more years. The only thing that would stop me is inflation and the cost of insurance.”
“I see myself in the same place, running around like crazy still, taking my kids to sporting events they are involved in,” ays Erin Hall, English teacher, said. “I plan on taking care of myself and making time for myself. I hope nothing stops me.”
“I see myself being a lawyer and making a lot of money,” Marckayveon Martin, junior, said. “I can do this by going to law school and pursuing my goals. Nothing will stop me; I will do anything to achieve my goal.”
“I want to be a carpenter with my own business,” Colbe Reynolds, junior, said. “I will go to trade school for two years and nothing will get in my way!”
“My goal is to get out of college and become a psychologist,” Hailey Holder, senior, said. “I will get this goal by going to college and getting the degrees I need. I think distractions in my life could stop me; it would cause me not to work to the best of my abilities.”
“I want to be married, become a mother, and work as a FBI agent,” Lacey Mulero, junior, said. “I can do this by going to a community college and pushing myself. The only way this goal cannot happen is if my boyfriend, and I break up.”
