Kindness is alive and well at our school.
“Kindness is important because it shows you care about people,” Jaden Breedlove , senior, said. “My English teacher Mr.Farr has showed me kindness. I also show people kindness at all times. I think some people have problems showing kindness because people are hateful.”
“You never know what somebody is going through so it’s important to be kind,” X’ence Rodgers, senior, said. “Mr. Tate has showed me numerous acts of kindness. I show people kindness if they reciprocate the same energy.”
“Chatham is a cultural environment. People learn better when they feel more comfortable and being kind brings that,” Mr. Adam Tate, a business teacher, said. “My coworkers , aka Mr. Riley , and my first students from the first semester of spring of 2022, showed me kindness. Individuals have problems with being kind because most people want to look out for themselves and their own needs.”
“Showing kindness is important because it helps give you respect and shows that you respect others,” Mr. Patrick Riley, business teacher , said, “Some students or teachers might not show kindness because they’re having a bad day or it might be trouble at home.”
“Kindness is important because it puts a smile on somebody’s face,” Hunter Moser, senior, said. “I try to show people kindness everyday. People may be unkind because they have their own problems so they take it out on other people.”
