Drama throughout school and social media is very common now in our generation.
Most students are opinionated about what drama is.
“Most teenagers have drama due to their relationship with their partner,” Semiyah Royal, senior, said. “Social media influences drama because some people have nothing else to do with their life. My friends tend to stay out any drama that I have, but they never let anyone talk to me crazy.”
“Teenagers always have drama when it comes to petty stuff or when they just want to start something because it makes themselves feel better ,” Ameyea Murphy, senior, said. ” When it comes to social media influencing drama, I totally agree with that statement, people are always instigating or putting their two cents in on platforms like Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok.”
“Teenagers have drama because they like to see people fight even when it isn’t that serious,” Kajayla Giggetts , junior, said. “Social media influences drama because teenagers post things to be petty towards another person. My friends stay in drama because in all reality they’re just petty.”
“Our generation has the tendency to start drama to be messy and stir up problems,” Anardia Harris, junior, said. “Social media plays a big role in different drama because a lot of things can get misconstrued. My friends and I stay out of drama unless someone has a problem with us.”
