Seniors want fun activities to make their last high school year memorable.
“I am really hoping for a senior sunrise and sunset. All the seniors can meet out on the football field and have breakfast while watching the sunrise. As for the sunset on the last full day of school, we could go to the football field and hangout and watch the sunset,” Autumn Cassell, senior, said.
Other students would really enjoy a bonfire outside.
“A bonfire would be really fun for all the grades to come together and have fun,” Madison Swanson, said. “We have had one in the past years, where we had dinner, played games, and sold a bunch of stuff. As a part of SCA this year we are working toward having one this year.”
Other students are fast-forwarding to a possible fun field trip closer to graduation.
“I know several of the teachers are working on getting a senior trip somewhere,” Mary Ross, senior, said. “A theme park would be a lot of fun, and most everyone would enjoy it. I think that it is a really good idea and would be fun and memorable for all the seniors that go.”
Still other seniors would like more entire-school activities.
“Last year, people were talking about the school doing two different spirit weeks and two pep-rallies,” Hannah Wilson, senior, said. “That would add something fun for the students to look forward to during the second semester when everyone is stressing out about exams and SOLs. It also might get people to come to school, when usually during the second semester students start losing motivation and start not showing up at school.”
