A new senior student is settling into life in Chatham.
Hailey Holder moved to Virginia from North Carolina.
“I like it here because it’s calm,” Holder said. “The traffic isn’t as bad.”
She lives with her parents and two pit bulls, “Lana” and “Steel.”
In her freetime, she enjoys hanging out with friends, going out, and listening to her favorite songs, such as “Tennessee Orange.” “I like the song because it reminds me of my boyfriend,” Holder said.
She’s currently taking Journalism I because she was “switched into it from PE 10.”
Once she graduates, she plans to “go to college to become a psychiatrist/therapist for younger kids.”
