Students at Chatham are excited for their upcoming plans for Halloween.
“This year my friends and I are going bowling in our costumes,” Rylee Shields, senior, said. “My favorite tradition for Halloween is carving and painting pumpkins. I’m not sure what I will dress up as yet, but we usually go trick-or-treating on Main Street in Chatham,” Shields said.
“On Halloween this year my family is going to carve pumpkins together like we do every year,” Hannah Wilson, senior, said. “When my family goes trick-or-treating, we usually go to several different churches. I don’t know if I’m going to dress up this year, but my boyfriend and I will wear Halloween pajamas and watch a movie and make boo-baskets for each other. Every year my favorite Halloween movie to watch is ‘Hocus Pocus,'” Wilson said.
“I don’t have any plans made for Halloween yet, but I am going to dress up as Winnie the Pooh,” Tara Hatcher, senior, said. “I usually go to Main Street, Chatham, when I’m trick-or-treating. My favorite part of Halloween is eating all the candy my siblings and I get. My favorite Halloween movie, I watch every year, is the ‘Terrifier,'” Hatcher, said.
