Chatham High school has a three day weekend coming up because Monday is Columbus Day.
Some students have a lot of things to do during this mini-break.
“I have to DJ for a wedding at Mountain Lake Lodge,” Mr. J. L. Clayton, Apex teacher, said. “I love to DJ and help people out; my father is the bridegroom,” Clayton, said.
“I’m going to see my brother’s soccer game Saturday; he plays for Southside, ” Barrett Scott, freshman, said. “I’m going to support my brother’ he loves when I come to his games,” Scott, said.
“I’m volunteering at the Blair’s Haunted House,” Adyson Bateman, freshmen, said. “I like volunteering for a good cause, and the money goes to the fire department,” Bateman, said.
“I have cheer camp; I’m watching movies with my family. I also have a birthday party to go to,” Sydney Yarboro, junior, said. “I want to try my hardest for my cheer competition and show support for my cousins,” Yarboro said.
