The academic semester is half over, and upperclassman are planning for life after high school.
“I want to attend Randolph College to major in psychology,” Aamira Stansfield, senior, said. “Randolph is a private, 4-year university. I sometimes stress because of the financial process, but I have high hopes that they’ll accept me!”
“I plan on attending Embry Riddle Aeronautical University,” Bailey Brousard, senior, said.
Juniors also think about their futures.
“I hope to attend Norfolk State or the University of Western Georgia,” Quintavia Witherspoon, junior, said. “Thinking about my future doesn’t tend to stress me out, because I’m so ready to see what life has in store for me.”
“I love to dance, so I would like to attend Loyola Marymount University,” Monica Mccoy, junior, said. “If college doesn’t work out for me I would like to teach dance.”
Some students haven’t come up with a plan for life after high school.
“I plan on doing absolutely nothing,” Josh Brown, senior, said.
Other students are just a little indecisive about certain things.
“I’m not sure which college I want to attend yet sadly,” Ka’Maiya Smith, senior, said. “I know for a fact that I’m interested in majoring in radiology; I don’t want to fail in life, so I stress about my future.”
“I’m not sure whether I want to attend college or not,” X’ence Rodgers, senior, said. “The two things I’m interested in don’t require me to go to college, but I might go just for the experience. I’m interested in cosmetology school and real estate.
