Students use wireless earbuds daily to listen to music, talk on the phone, isolate themselves from extraneous noise, and lots of other purposes.
The brand that’s best for those activities depends on your personal preference.
Airpods and Beats are usually the brands students gravitate to.
“I use Beats because they have good hearing quality and “Beats are less expensive, but they give the best quality,” Plummer, freshman, said they protect ear drums better than Airpods do,” Allana Plummer, freshman, said. “I use my Beats to block out people’s voices when I’m in public, and I don’t want anyone to speak to me. “I feel like Airpods are overrated because they can be louder, but they can constantly fall out of your ears if you are working out or moving around,” Plummer said.
“I use both Airpods and Beats, but I mainly use my Beats to listen to music and talk on the phone,” Zaniah Bridgeforth, junior, said. “Airpods are louder, but the fourth generation of Beats is louder than Airpods. Airpods are only like $100, and Beats can be nearly $200,” Bridgeforth said. “The color Beats I have are very pretty and unique; you rarely see these colors like pink, but they are not that loud.”
“I use my Airpod Pros because they offer great quality when you’re talking on the phone, or if you’re listening to music there is good sound quality,” Caylee Taylor, sophomore, said. “The one thing I dislike about Airpods is that the battery life sucks, but other than that they are my favorite. The one thing I dislike about Airpods is that the battery life sucks, but other than that they are my favorite,” Taylor said.
“I use Airpods instead of Beats because I like that you can’t see them in your ear during use,” Naomi Davis, sophomore, said. “I don’t know how much Beats are, so I’ll say Airpods are the best quality. I love the size of Airpods; unlike Beats because Beats are big, bulky, and uncomfortable, and you can’t lie in bed with them,” Davis said.
