As the school year advances, Chatham High students are deciding on their future education.
“I plan to attend Randolph College and major in psychology,” Aamira Stanfield, senior, said. “I will attend college for four to five years, and I will not be picking up a minor.”
“I am attending Norfolk State University and will be majoring in biology” Johanna Witcher, senior, said. “Picking up a minor is not on my list of agendas. I will have to attend college for up to four years but will take 12-14 years to officially pursue my career,” Witcher said.
“I will attend Mount Saint Mary College and obtain my BSN,” said Kennedy Hanks, senior. “I plan to pick up a minor in biology, and I will have to attend college for four years, plus four additional years for med school.”
Numerous students possess a clear vision of their intended pursuits following high school graduation.
“The college I plan to attend is William & Mary for psychology/social work,” Audrey Erickson, senior, said. “I’m not sure if I will be picking up a minor but, however, I do know that I will have to attend college for four years, or more if needed,” Erickson said.
