Perfumes are a form of personal expression that evoke emotions.
The types of perfume a woman wears say a lot about her.
“My favorite perfume has to be either Strip Tease or the Kera perfume by Gracefully Natural,” Caylee Taylor, sophomore, said. “I get my perfumes from my cousin’s business called Gracefully Natural located in Rocky Mount.”
“I usually use fresh perfumes on a rainy day, heavy perfumes on hot days, and light perfumes in places like the gym,” Taylor, said. “There are these two brands I use called Valentino and Tom Ford because they are very popular in this day and age.”
“The most liked perfume I have has to be Sol De Janeiro Number 68 because it is long-lasting, and I get the most compliments when I wear it,” Quintavia Witherspoon, junior, said. “I wear a new scent everyday of the week because I am a perfume-type-of-a girl.

“I mostly get my perfumes from Ulta, Sephora, or the oil fragrances at the beauty supply store,” Witherspoon said. “My favorite type of perfumes are light because they’re not too strong but not too heavy. I also want to try the Mini Daisy gift set by Marc Jacobs.”
“My favorite perfume is Yara by Lattafa Perfumes because it is long lasting, and it is my everyday go-to,” Naomi Davis, sophomore, said. “I mostly purchase my perfumes from Bath & Body Works, Target, or the Perfume Gallery located in Greensboro. I like heavier scents, but it depends on what I wear. The two perfumes I’d like to try are by Marc Jacobs and Juicy Couture.”
“My Way by Giorgio Armani is my favorite perfume. I use it about four times a week, and I got it from Amazon for $95,” Yolanda Shields, math teacher, said. “I use heavier scents because why pay a lot of money if no one’s gonna smell it. The longest lasting perfume I’ve ever had has to beĀ Flowerbomb by Viktor and Rolf.”
