Many people think the most essential thing in life is money.
Money is a great thing, but it is not everything.

Students mostly agree with this, but some differ.
“Money is not everything because you do not need money to make it far in life; you just need intelligence,” Allana Plummer, freshman, said.
“I do not think money is everything because I think money could get you short time happiness but not lifetime joy,” Leah Oakes, sophomore, said.
“I would rather be broke and happy because happiness means more to me than money because money cannot buy happiness,” Ethan Jacobs, sophomore, said.
True happiness comes from strong relationships and personal fulfillment.
Money can dispense comfort and security, but money can not directly buy satisfaction.
Students disagree with these concepts as well.
“Yes, money is the key to happiness because without money, you can not buy the items you need to survive comfortably or at all,” Javion Webb, sophomore, said.
” I agree that money can be everything, but also not, because they say money isn’t everything but when money touches my hand I’m the happiest person in the world,” Ma’Khayiah Hairston, sophomore, said.
“I think money is everything, because it can buy you security, health, and happiness. Surviving in this world without money would not be easy in this economy,” Kervon Tolliver, sophomore, said.
