Supporters are the means to success.
Someone’s positive actions can make them become a role model in your life.
“My mother is my biggest supporter because she supports me in all I do,” Alyssa King, sophomore, said. “I always know she is proud of me.”
“My parents are my biggest supporters because they came/come to all my games they drove me to work everyday, and they push me to be my best self,” Leah Oakes, sophomore, said.
A supporter’s unwavering belief in a person can be a motivation for significant growth and positive change.
“My mother taught me that I can overcome anything in my life,” King said. “She sets an inspirational example for me in all ways in my life.”
“My parents taught me to be kind to everyone, and to serve others before myself,” Oakes said.
Your biggest supporters can have qualities that you admire.
“I admire my mother’s patience, support, and the unconditional love she gives me everyday,” King said.
“My mom is selfless and hardworking, and she loves every student she’s ever had,” Oakes said. “My dad is very involved in our church, and if he sees someone who needs help; he will go out of his way to help them.”
“I admire how hard my mom tries for us as a family,” Ma’Khayiah Hairston, sophomore, said.
Relationships with the toughest bonds go through the toughest battles.
“If we had a problem within me and my mother’s relationship, we would talk it out and try to figure out a solution and make sure we understand where each other were coming from,” King said.
People should embrace memories with the ones who support you most.
“My favorite memory with my mother is when she had her wedding; it was fun, we spent time together and danced together,” King said.
“My favorite memory with my parents is going on road trips or vacations,” Oakes said.
“My favorite memory is when my family and I went to Tennessee,” Hairston said.
