Writing a letter to your future self is a powerful practice that invites self-reflection, goal-setting, and personal growth.
Students have very powerful messages to themselves in the future.
Several students agreed to share a portion of their letters.
“You worked hard for this, continue to grow in Christ and yourself,” Allan Plummer, freshman, said.
“I just want to take a moment to remind you of how hard you worked for your goals, and your dreams. Just keep going and stay with God,” Ma’khayiah Hairston, freshman, said. “With faith, anything is possible.”
Students often have a very sentimental message to themselves.
“You worked hard to be where you are now. Make sure to keep doing so,” Caitlynn Hawkins, senior, said.
“You are smart, you are kind, you are beautiful, and you will be someone. Keep going forward and put God first in everything you do, your grandparents are watching over you and are so proud of you,” Loren Witcher, freshman, said.
“I hope you are where you want to be, and continue to keep pushing yourself to yourself to your fullest potential,” Alyssa King, freshman, said. “Always keep your faith in yourself and God,” King, said.
