Most students like an elective class that they enjoy rather than need.
“I love JROTC as an elective,” Elijah Livengood, freshman, said. “I’m thinking about going into the military when I’m older. It [this class] teaches you how to be strong, and it’s also a really fun class to take.”
“Art is a fun class, especially Art II,” Autumn France, freshman, said. “Art I shows you the history of art; meanwhile, Art II is a more visual class. You draw and color more in the class than sit and listen about the history of it. If you want to take art to color and draw, you have to get through Art I.”
“Agriculture is such a different class to take,” Chasity Burgess, freshman, said. “I kind of like the class is because one of my friends are there. The only class that I wouldn’t recommend taking unless you want to actually learn about agriculture.”
“JROTC is a really fun class to take,” Larry Ramey, freshman, said. “You don’t have to want to join the military to join the class. That’s something I like about it a lot, because I don’t want to join the military when I’m older.”
