Many students had a blast over spring break.
Several students traveled to different locations.
“I had a basketball tournament in Halifax; my team won our first game by ten points, our second game by five, and our third by 20,” Jaylen Brown, sophomore, said.
“I went to Tennessee to visit my dad during break,” Marley Driggers, sophomore, said. “My favorite thing about the trip was getting a tattoo; I got flowers with butterflies.”
A popular thing many people did was spend time with their loved ones.
“My favorite thing during break was visiting my mom since I don’t normally see her a lot,” Owen Hyatt, freshman, said. “Me and my mom went to Carowinds; we had a blast and rode many roller coasters.”
“I don’t think spring break was long enough because I wanted to stay at the beach to spend more time with my family,” Taylor Fitz, sophomore, said.
“I went to Lynchburg and Greensboro with my mom; we tried new restaurants when we went to Greensboro and went shopping in Lynchburg,” Alana Plummer, freshman, said. “We ate at Lucky 32 and Luxe’s Soulfood & Cocktails.”
