Easter traditions bring joy to students.
Easter is a time filled with joy, family, and meaningful traditions, and many students look forward to celebrating in their own special ways.
“We usually have a family cookout with our family from all over the world,” Allana Plummer, freshman, said.
Other students begin their day with meaningful moments of reflection and faith.
“On Easter morning, my family goes to our church’s sunrise service,” Leah Oakes, sophomore, said.
Throughout the weekend, students participate in a wide variety of fun and festive activities.
“Me and my loved ones get together and have a cookout,” Alyssa King, freshman, said. “All of my little cousins find Easter eggs, and we all dress nicely for Easter pictures.”
“On Easter, my mom gets us really beautiful dresses from Belk’s, my family and I attend church service together at our home church, then we have a big cookout,” Loren Witcher, freshman, said.
“On Easter I just want to sleep, but my mom makes my sisters and I dress up nicely and we attend church, and we have a big cookout,” Jaden Breedlove, senior, said.
