Students often struggle with procrastination.
Most struggle completing boring household jobs.
“I like to take care of things immediately because if not then I’ll most likely forget later on in the day, and it’ll never get done,” Keysean Holland, freshman, said. “I procrastinate most when it comes to getting ready for school or washing the dishes because I don’t like washing dishes, and I’m not a morning person at all.”
“I procrastinate some of the time but not all the time before I do things because when I usually get told to do something I’m in my bed and too comfortable to get up,” Jacob Thompson, sophomore, said. “I procrastinate most when it comes to getting ready for school because school is not my favorite thing in the world, but I still gotta go, sadly.”
Some students find more success by completing the tasks right away.
“I do things immediately because I don’t wanna have to do it later, but I do procrastinate on stuff that’s not really important,” Uriel Jacobo, freshman, said. “I procrastinate most when it comes to washing dishes; I’ll do the dishes but I don’t wanna do them every single time they get dirty so I just take my time.”
“I procrastinate half of the time and sometimes I’ll do things immediately,” Riley Melancon, freshman, said. “I procrastinate most when it comes to getting ready for school because I have to get up so early in the morning, and I don’t really like waking up early at all.”
